Summit Roofing Group was founded in 2001 by Marcus Reid and Carlos Vega — two Colorado natives who grew up watching Denver homes get hammered by spring hail and didn't think homeowners should have to fight their insurance companies or chase down fly-by-night contractors to fix it. They started Summit with two crews, a pickup truck, and a commitment to show up on time and do the work right the first time.
Twenty-two years later, Summit Roofing is one of the Denver metro's highest-rated roofing contractors, with over 3,800 completed projects, 18 cities served, and a team of 48 full-time employees — all direct hires, never subcontracted. Our crew includes 6 licensed project managers, 4 commercial roofing specialists, and a full-time insurance claims coordinator to help homeowners navigate the process.
We hold Colorado CRS license #CO-R-9823, carry $5M in general liability insurance and workers' compensation for every crew member, and are certified by IKO as Diamond Preferred Contractors — a status held by fewer than 3% of Colorado roofing companies.
